As the name suggests - it's compatible with with a 2½" IDE HDD, and SD or CF cards via a single or dual SD/CF card adapter.

The IDE Plus 2.0 PBI adapter is an update of the earlier KMK/JZ IDEa boards, with the addition of on-board real time clock, built-in SpartaDOS X, OS compatible operation, improved (Konrad Kokoszkiewicz) firmware upgrade.

Further updates to the bios have added APT functionality. - all instructions and files required are @ Jon's website

The interface has the following connectors:

■ CART/ECI connector for full access to XE computers
■ PBI connector for full access to XL computers
■ connection for XL computer via a 50-wire edge connector
■ external 5V power supply
■ 2.5-inch IDE connector
■ cartridge slot
■ 8-pin connector for additional signals to XL computers

below are the bios setup screens (accessed via START key @ power up - or via RESET + START)
have spent an hr playing with the settings this morning - it's worth noting - as i found out the CTRL-X (save + exit) and CTRL-B (save + boot) options require you holding the keys for a second or two.
