One of my favourite, almost guilty pleasures, is listening to a band called Broken Peach. They're a Spanish rock group who do a lot of covers but really like to go all out when it comes to Halloween.

My favourite Halloween special is from 3 years ago

LOL! Just saw this 45 single on Feebay and it instantly took me back to my childhood, messing around with Dinky toy trucks pushing em around in the dirt at the bottom of our alleyway and stuff and everyone going on about CB and going to watch this at the movies - I think the record did OK in the UK charts.

What are your memories of this "classic" track, guys?

Hi, guys.

We don't seem to have so many discussions on here about "electronic" or synthesised music but one of my fave bands of all time are Depeche Mode.

The DM community seem split on which era they consider the band at their best but most agree that they are not quite the same since Alan Wilder quit in 1995 when the band developed a lot of "inner turmoils".

Here he is talking candidly, frankly and expressively in an interview a few years back and I made the edit where A.W. discusses...

Well sometime back when I'd first built, an Atari 1088XEL, I added the upgrade to include MIDI.
https://ataribits.weebly.com/midi.html

The board I built also allowed the addition of a wavetable driven synth. This is driven by software and the hardware attached to a pin header within the XEL, allowing access to the SIO port.

The particular board set I ordered from OSH'Park allowed me to attach a Dream S2 synth

I have to say, for whatever reason I always connected with Roger Waters' lyrics. They saw me through some pretty low points in my life, in fact.

Pink Floyd caught my attention when I was still in school, with their Another Brick in the Wall single that was getting radio time in those days.

Some years later, Pink Floyd's The Wall played as part of a two-movie regular selection at a tri-plex in Lansing by the Frandor Mall, alongside Rocky Horror Picture Show — and...
