Just taken a quick look at that channel and they have a sales training video for the 400/800. One of the bits of software featured on it is Home Filing Manager. Weird as it may seem, 12 year old me really wanted that title but never got it.

Think it is time to dust off the serious apps on my 800XL!

As you say, there are some great archived films there in Atari Museum's video vault.

Funny you should mention giving the old Atari Classic 8bit a kickstart.

My next uploaded clip will be an Atari educational title that was also a great game to boot.

Before this particular release, I knew nothing about America's geography and afterwards, well, I at least feel as if I might know something at a Junior level.

I wonder what it can be?

If I recall correctly, it was published by Scholastic (who also produced a load of primary teaching materials when I was in my teacher training mode many moons ago...)

 

I know among several geography programs Atari had their own States & Capitals for the U.S. as well as similar for Europe and maybe others...I'll have to go look at Atarimania...

Will enjoy having another blast on it again soon and film the experience.

Takes me back to life on my own in my 'retro' batchelor flat 1987-1993... didn't think I'd ever get out sane and that the Fuzzbomb would get me in the end.
