This great title is given a good old reboot in Baz's Friday night video cave outing - check out how bad/crap our anarchistic Atarian got on (but don't hold your breath... just your plums)

Sorry guys - i've just realised this game is by Williams Electronics (maker of Defender, amongst others).

Headslap time - I was always under the impression that this was an Atari title - schoolboy error.

    DOH!

Mate, I had the camera on a tripod mounted AROUND the exercise bike wotsit of Bev's and tried to film the telly and the monitor AND play the buggering game... simultaneously so forgive the dodgy angle, Al - there's just too much going on in too small a room.

I need to knock into next door...

Some nice Atari versions for Joust compared in this You Tube review, fellas:

The 7800 version looks particularly polished....it would do!!

    I WANT ONE!

    LOL.

Yep - I would have to run as my life would depend on it, chaps... there's a Chinese guy on the Peleton vids who I am sure Bev has got a thing for so if he disappeared out the door with the bike then... my life wouldn't be worth living cos without her "crispy hot takeaway", she advises that me Pekin duck is not up to scratch in comparison.

    What does she mean, fellas???!!!

    The mind BOGGLES!

Oh hell, you have been 'fooded', when they start comparing you to their fave food you are in trouble..

It seems your Pekin duck has Peaked too soon..

She's relegated you to Dim Sum...

Sell the bike and run :)

You could say, your SUM has DIMMED :)

    Too early for food jokes..

Love the arcade cab, made me look up Retrocade, seems a pretty nice system. Mind you making video's around that bike must be like playing Twister..

    Absolutely, Paul.

    You got it.

It's like the assault course in Krypton Factor in there.

It's a wonder I don't do mesen a mischief when "getting me leg over" (ooooerRr) within the chamber of chaos...

Hell, I wish I knew the answer to that, fella.

There's a small area on the screen where there's a little cluster of "dead pixels" but the guy explained this to me and that's why it was only £200 rather than the £350 he normally charges so I wasn't bothered as you rarely even notice the slight imperfection.

Give me a mo and I'll try and get the cab out from between the units without causing everything that is precariously perched on top and on nearby unit shelves not to come cascading down on me bonce from above, Paul.

Avalanche wouldn't do the resulting catastrophe justice!

    Two ticks...

Ah, the whole of the back of the monitor unit is shielded and plated off inside the cab.

I'll make some enquiries with the guy who I bought it off, lads.

I'd mess about with the boot loader and try and check the initial boot screen to check that but I'd probably end up doing more harm than good and disable the whole Pi boot script knowing me and my Oric ways...

ABOVE: Bev brings Baz and the Oric design team out into the sunshine before
    wrecking any further retro relics.
