I had one back in the late 80s, Paul, but the damn print head disintegrated on mine!
Replacement faired a little better and then I got a Star LC24-10.
That was easily the best dot matrix printer I ever had.

 

I had an FX80 with the old graftrax chips (think that is what they were called) but to be honest I printed next to nothing
