I don't know if you have seen this video or if this has been discussed on AA but FJC has posted a video on YouTube showcasing prototype hardware. I am interested in the new UAV type PCB as getting one from the Brewing Academy is expensive.
Bugger, I knew there was something I meant to do, I did a thread re Jons video on AA and meant to do it on here, so well done Richie, glad one of us has a working brain.. Some really nice gear coming, sadly it could be a couple of years before it actually gets out. Speaking of PCB's, did you ever get anywhere with the Sidekick64 one? I've been hmming and harring about it..It looks fun but needed, not so sure..
I am working on the two SideKick's I have most of the passive SMD parts soldered but haven't ordered the IC's yet. Then the Pi Zero's and the LCD displays are needed and a card reader. So still a lot to do with them but at least I fitted the LED's correctly, SMD LED's are TINY and I had to google how to tell the Anode from the Cathode!
Lol...Yeah, all that surface mount is soooo tiny now, time to get the solder paste and hot air them on (if there's enough space or use capton tape for the surrounding parts). Having one of those 2 million jobs to do days (all house related, no fun soldering stuff).. When you do get a sidekick up and running, let me know what you think.. Take care, oh and it's cervicular spondylosis in my neck (or so I'm told) Paul..
