I've spent the last couple days making it a point to ensure that all my Atari floppies are 1) in the same location and 2) have some semblance of organization. The process let me eyeball everything I have on disk at this point, accumulated during my 3 years or so of mad Atari adopting all-things-Atari, including lots.

Aside from a great deal more blank disks than I expected to find, and the usual rigormorale of multi-file disks that us home computer users build and accumulate over the years, there were a lot more commercial disks than I expected to find, and among them was Synapse's Dodgeracer, which has eluded the Atari community to date.

It being a Synapse disk, and my poor experiences with whatever tissue paper they insisted on using inside those sleeves, as far as Synapse programs, I set about duplicating it through Steven Tucker's ProSystem software, promptly generating both an .atr and .pro copy to provide the Atari community at AtariAge, and DJayBee posted that he'd been able to successfully correct the flawed .atr.

He doesn't believe there is any copy-protection to be found here, and to be fair I haven't even loaded the program yet so I can't confirm or deny.

Still, be sure to drop this one into your Atari rare archives.

It has?! I'm surprised it wasn't at either archive. I even spent time resorting to my Google-fu. Nothing.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it on MB's Tim BUT they could have just been dodge racer home attempts?

Nope, just scanned the archive here and I have it as atr, xex and a com file

And the atr works on XL as well.
