Sorry to chime in so late, we're busy bees around the homestead. I'm glad you found the latest version. I use it all the time, I have a conversion taking place on my PC while I am on this forum typing this post! I just put up a couple images of airplanes on the AA thread "Images generated by Rastaconverter." I've done hundreds, most are in that thread, but I have them all, and most everyone else's conversions on my PC, I could .zip them up for anyone who hasn't kept up with the thread and all the great graphic images made with Rasta. You'll know my conversions as I'm pretty much the only one who doesn't put his name/handle on the conversions. A personal decision of mine since what I do is only use a converter to convert (badly) other's photos and art.

 

I can't find a newer one from Ilmenit...

Matt is your go to person on the program, he's done loads of pictures..

I tried it a couple of times but it was too much time left running for my limited attention span.

Here's examples/samples of pics via Rasterconverter - except the last 3 rows are from other programs/processes to serve as comparison examples. 3rd last row are Graph2Font pictures from that forum at Atariage. 2nd last row are Fun With Art pictures.. Bottom row - first two are via Technicolour Dream pictures, rest of row are Interlaced images - don't know the details of how the interlaced pictures were made? The bottom row pictures do come out very dark in print form - and on your Atari - those black lines are prominent.
They're from the Rasterconverter thread at Atariage - some are excellent examples, whereas others are just OK - using default settings. This can be printed out at A3 size for your wall/whatever...

An excellent sample/array of your conversions, Matt. I know I've run your various themed picture shows, as it were, on my 800XL in the past and I've always got a real kick out of seeing the images in such colourful "high" definition for an 8bit. You put in a great deal of spadework to create these results so once more, I doff my (brick dust filled) cap in your general direction and hope that Tim and others have a crack too as the outcomes are just bloody great to see.
