Anyone want to do a group buy from Best Electronics?

I want to get a Blitter for my STFM but doing it on my own is proving problematic with Brad and the shipping. So I was wondering if anyone else has stuff they want or need on our 8 Bit or 16 Bit computers so we could do a group buy from Bradley.
Other than that I would need to find a shipping agent in the US that consolidates orders and ships them over in one shipment. I don'r have many Atari friends in the US apart from Matt and I haven't seen him around of late. So getting a mate over the pond to ship it for me is not really going to happen either.

 

I can't think of anything offhand Richie, but I'll try and look at his website and see if there is anything that takes my fancy.

 

The only thing I'd want from him would be the pillars for the Atari 800 keys, but Brad had already told me they sold out and that was the end of them. Managed to get some from the guy who brought the last batch, but not enough to do the full fix.

The only thing I'd say is that Brad was being a bit naggy about big orders a few years back. Blimey, he must be a fair age now. Some people say he's rude, I can't say he was ever rude to me over the years.

But I'm out of this buy I'm afraid..

i might just have to get a busted 520STe and take the blitter off that instead, probably cheaper than getting a new one from the US.
The Blitter doesn't really work in STFM games but it speeds up GEM and windows by quite a lot.

 

The delivery cost from the US just makes most stuff nigh on unaffordable these days. Not brought from USA in years, a certain orange faced twat has made everyone suffer so he can do his King of the World routine.

Glad to see you are still taking your gear seriously, wish I had that motivation, but it's great to see you thriving at it..
