That would be great - Al, you fancy one too then we can get a couple of orders in with Rich if he's happy to have a crack at these - would be smashing having instant ROM action on the old Speccy and booting up Jet-Pac and Tranz Am in the wink of Sir Clive's eye... cheers once more, Rich.

OK, this came through the door this week, lads, and rather than get me to review, why not a famous BBC bod?

Well imagine using our Fred to review your software finds!
What's next, Uncle Jimmy doing the Fun School titles?

C'mon Baz, give us hard hitting stories like the time a boatload of refugees arrived from France on the back of an Oric Atmos power supply.

Nice work there, @Vyper68 - are these only cartridges where you can load up some games or have they another usage? I ask for your forgiveness but Sir Sinclair's ZX universe is partly unknown to me.

    Hi @AlexDrito
So the cartridge can hold 4 16KB ROM images. Sinclair didn't produce many cartridges so that is a bit limiting and it can only be a 16KB image. There are other options for larger games like the Dandanator or more exotic variations of the Interface 2 cart using bank switching but that relies on extra logic. This one basically gives you a standard interface 2 cart but uses a dip switch to choose which image.
The images available for the cart I made can include games but there are also alternative BASIC's and diagnostic ROMs as well so you could use the Interface 2 or a clone of it as a diagnostic system for a Speccy.

Nice work on the CPC by the way Andy. It's a good little machine. Just need to add an external Ear socket so you can load CDT images via a Maxduino device, save you a fortune in games.

    Cheers, Rich!

I will open your box - prob Wed night as I'm visiting mam in Brid tomorrow night but as you know, the CPC464 is hogging the limelight at this moment in time.

Knight Tyme and Oh Mummy, Harrier Attack - those bundled Amsoft titles getting a good run through right now and I'm really enjoying the Amstrad system's "complete" package and the great clear yellow font on a blue background.
It's truly cool schmule old school round at Baz's reet now!

Some fiendish puzzles to solve in Knight Tyme - and being a noob, it's novel and I need the walk-through :)

Never played this one before - bit of fun, nothing to get too excited about.

But this one, if I've played it a 1000 times, I've actually played it 10,000!

    The one and only...

HARRIER ATTACK - chocks away and we're back in the Falklands again.
Cheers, Rich - I lurve the CPC system but you watch Al come down and raid it from me in 10 days time :) !

As if I would Andy... ;)

So glad you are enjoying it mate. If you have any of the Roland games they are usually fun as well.
There was a good homebrew of Deathchase for it as well and some of the French isometric adventures were amazing.

Just wait, next thing we know you'll be auditioning for The Apprentice and getting Lord Sugar to sign your 464!
