Yes, it's fully tweaked, U1MB in it as well as the HC version of the 74 series chip, plus PBI fixes etc.

Ruddy hell Andy, why do people do this sort of thing! First Richie offers up his Dragon 32 and then you have the only Speccy that appeals to me! Anybody want to buy an Amstrad or a Kidney lol.

Looks great, sure it will go, not to me tho...Not only have I sold almost all my body parts, but the ones that are left don't work well. To be honest, it's near the time the old 1200XL is going to go.

Well done Andy, that's a respectable price. Is it just me though or have you guys noticed that prices of retro machines and the comptuers in general have come down a bit lately? Something I've noticed a little.
Of course, if you have an Oric Atmos with floppy drive then you can name your own price!Andy Barr likes this. -

Aye,
I have seen a lot of retro micro "bargains" of late, Al.
Some folks are really offloading at very affordable prices but as you say, other perhaps more "prestigious" micros are still keeping their former prices, eg 1200XLs, Amiga 1200s, C128s, Jupiter Aces, ZX80s AND... Oric Atmoses with Oric Microdisk drives (fortunately I have both the latter but unfortunately none of the former!)nysavant likes this. -

The Atari 800 is probably one of the 'higher' machines you mention as well Andy. Don't think I could ever part with mine though, it's just such an iconic system and it's built like a tank.

You will deffo, as you know, get mega interest in your 1200XL, Paul.
Am I right in thinking it has been modded/upgraded too?
Just my stock model went to Manu for a nice price and I can see yours doing even better.
Good luck, mate, and thanks for the thumbs up with the ol Speccy.
Hope your body parts keep you ticking along a good few more years yit!
(Mine are starting to trouble me so know where yer coming from) -

Agreed, Al. Atari 800s deffo in the above "keep their higher value" category and also rare birds, eg Memotechs, Sam Coupes etc.
