Hi Rich.
I'd consider splitting it all.
I'll take some more pics of the tapes all clearly on display and I need to test the 1541 as haven't got round to doing that yet due to York weekend away, making sure mam's OK and the car's still undergoing repairs... due to get it back hopefully tomorrow tea.
If you make me a decent offer, mate...
It's yours. -

A very nice lot you've got there, Baz! The C64C is in mint condition, and so are the items that come with the computer. I have too many of Commodore stuff, that I, as a fan, have accumulated during the last 10 years.
The number of original games could suggest you split your offer and get the best money out of every piece. Recently on eBay, I've seen prices going crazy for even just an original tape or game disk. If we were in the same city or at least country, I'd surely make a good offer (I can't resist Commodore stuff). Good luck! -

Looking good Andy, nice bit of kit, Richie will love it...
The only bit I was keen on is the C64C, but purely because I don't have one now....More power to Richie...
LOL...Loading up Manic Miner, the most Spectrum game ever, on a C64 (yeah I know there was a port) Poor old Matthew Smith aint in a good way these days... -

Blimey Andy, that C64 box looks like it just came out the factory yesterday!
Not a C64 fan (I don't even use my TheC64 MIni these days) so sadly not something I'd be interetsed in. But I reckon that little setup will get snapped up. Would make someone an awesome Christmas present to themself!Andy Barr likes this. -

No worries, Al.
Like you say, there will be some interest in this in some quarters and for sure someone will be drawn to that pristine looking C64C - I'll unbox it over the weekend and give you a few more pics to savour / test it out and upload some test pics and if, after all, there's nothing doing offers-wise on our forum, I'll then list on Feebay.
AH, Paul... I'm so sorry to hear. I will hold on to it for you if you want it say next month? Just make a reasonable offer.
Cheers, guys.nysavant likes this. -

Thanks for watching Vivi's band video. Eudemonia actually performed last Friday for their first gig ever, during a "metal-rock" night arranged here in a venue in Lugano. Just the same night when The Cure were live on BBC2 for the last album's concert. Vivi and their bandmates were great, only 5 tracks in their allowed time, but it was fun, intense, and amazing. And I swear I'm not being partial.

Hi guys,
Just a real quick update on the C64C and 1541 situation as I finally got tests in tonight.
Here we go - the C64C is lovely and clean and in smart working nick as per:
Once more, offers are invited for this lovely example of a latter CBM64 and if I don't hear back from the Atari Owners crew then I will list elsewhere in the next day or so - thanks for looking.
On to the 1541 - Rich currently has 1st dibs/refusal.
Here we go...
I've given Richie a price incl of the 1541, cables, a few disks and those 22 cassette tapes shown above in the thread PLUS door to door delivery! (Only Al can match this on one of his cross-country bandit raids he carries out across the border in summertime!).
Over to Richie then as he has 1st refusal.
If he doesn't want it then please make your offers and I will consider any good ones - the others I will send to Oric Products for a good belly laugh
Cheers, fellas, once more for looking.AlexDrito likes this. -

Lol, as always, an 80's music reference at the end.
Re Matt Smith, he hasn't got any ultra serious condition AFAIK, but the last time I saw him in pictures, he had lost most of his teeth, looked like a down and out and clearly wasn't the full ticket.
As for the game, too hard even when I could play....
PS re the C64C, thank you for offering a deal, but it would be purely to own one again and probably never get touched. Also, if there's one part that is worth good wonga, it's that. A pristine machine..Andy Barr likes this. -

That's a second hand emotion according to Tina But then again, what's love got to do with it...
Yep, get that up on ebay if it's unsold on here. Right I'm off, my fingers are arthritis bound, blooming sore.Andy Barr likes this. -

Yep, cars are also a pain, I used to service my Marina and the Cortina, but these all computerised things are different beasts. Sadly, the garages know this and even if I knew how to do the work, my body says NO.
So, we get into the hands of the garage and unless you are best mates with them (for real) then anything could be charged, and we are none the wiser.
Like Al, I have my MOT in a few weeks, dreading it...
As for Xmas, thankfully, we keep to ourselves , so there's no looking after numerous guests over the holidays, it's just us and thumbs enjoying a quiet time (if only that was the case)
And a last laugh, the sec Trump gets in office he wipes all / almost all proceedings against him. Will the Americans realise that was his first goal and he used them to save his cash and time in clink, nope, they will kiss his ass as usual. I expect the sorts that tried to kill him will be declaring open season on him. Me, I never want to meet the self-centred twat..Andy Barr likes this. -

IMHO, I can't believe there;s one loon in America who's voted for the arsehole, never mind millions - are they all THAT scared of a black woman in 21st C USA?! It's either rigged, as you say Paul, to get his criminal charges dropped, or there are forces at work who wish American withdrawal from supporting the likes of Ukraine, NATO, peace in the middle east incorporating Palestine and... Taiwan. This could lead to huge changes as the orange-faced baboon takes off on part two of his hedonistic, idiotic moondance stomp into infamy. How did the would-be assassins miss his over-inflated ego and head? I want a rematch!
Aye, cars and garage bills are another bug bear and they know we're screwed without our motors.
Good luck everyone with the bills and budget-balancing this Chrimbo - for a lot of us it's getting harder by the year.AlexDrito likes this. -

Is it splittable as in you'd sell the tapes and or 1541? I don't need a 64 but I would quite like a 1541 and some of the tapes look neat.
-
by Andy Barr
OK, here we go - clear pics of the C64 tapes available - I think we're talking 22 here (some of them crappy mag cover tapes) and maybe 8-10 of a decent quality albeit on budget labels...
Will test the 1541 disk drive during the week.
Cheers, Rich. -

I only just spotted your reply sandwiched inbetween Rich's original query and your observations re. C64 tapes and Feebay auctions... I think the "Power Pack" and "Tool Box" tapes are almost giveaways and ten-a-penny but some of the other titles are quite nice, yes?
If only we were a little closer, mate... I am sure we would have had some meet-ups by now
Haven't forgotten about your daughter's video.. so much going on at the moment in life with people to see, mam to take care of and the car to get back and then see what on earth happened to the clutch after the breakdown the other week. -

Sorry to hear about Matthew Smith, mate - Parkinsons? Dementia? Cancer? There are some terrible conditions, I know, he;s prob plagued with arthritis to boot, poor guy - an absolute Speccy and retro micro legend too for his great classic platformer, you mention, which just about every Sinclair rubber key fanatic owned at one point. I've just tried getting orf the 1st screen.. I failed miserably. Whatever happened to our eye to hand to eye coordination - mine's just died in my arms tonight... ;-) -

Cheers, Paul.
Stuck in the 80s? Me? I Second That Emotion!
So sorry to hear that Matt Smith has hit rock bottom with his life in general.
It is very easy, perilously easy, to fall through the cracks and suddenly find yourself down and out etc.
Poor guy and the same goes to anyone else currently finding life tough.
OK, mate.
If I don't hear from any of the other guys on here I'll stick this elsewhere listing wise by end of week... that bloody MX5 bill needs paying -
by Vyper68
I am going to have to step back from this listing sadly things are going to be a bit tight until after Crimbo now as a few things have put everything on hold.
