Yes its a terrible loss for us and especially his wife and daughter...

The poor guy had heart problems and it was a heart attack that took him..

I didn't know Curt apart from a couple of chats but I certainly knew of him because of the legend he created...

RIP Curt...Condolences to his wife, daughter and other family and friends.

I had a few on-line chats with him myself over the years, though nothing recent. Definitely a loss, and really hits close to home about our age and that we are closer to death than birth, by a long shot now. Any one of us could be gone tomorrow or, have a few more decades in us, but you just never know. And poor health doesn't always mean an early demise, I've know people with constant health issues and they still lived (maybe not well) until their 90's etc. He knew he had a bad ticker, but more often then not people drop dead of heart attacks who think they are in great health.

Good by Curt, you were taken too soon. RIP.

As had been said; a sad loss to the Atari Community, Wife and Family.
I can't say I've ever chatted with him but knew of his reputation, I think he was especially interested in the 7800 console, at least that’s my memory.
