HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, PAUL and CINDY - all the best, mate - what you up to - Friday celebrations and maybe a takeaway / feet-up and watch a movie?

Whatever, have a great weekend, folks and here's hoping those neighbours put a sock in it...

The neighbour have not stayed a night in 4 days, hardly been here in the daytime and the monster little girl is not here at any time..

Just deciding what take away it will be and then a night in on the sofa with the possibility of a fizzy bottle, been a god couple of days, Serena out and then back in Uni, my delayed item finally arriving, Serena getting proper PIP help and the anniversary...Actually happy for once..

Might do the lottery tonight, euro millions would be a nice bonus ;)

What a bloody downer on a good night.....I hope they are just having a "see we are back" burn up and then it goes quieter...

Edit: Quieter...I don't hold out much hope tho...

    The one and only...

    Kingston upon 'Ull, Allan.

    (Hull!)

Mind, we've come home tonight to a dust storm as half the old kitchen walls have been knocked down today...

    upload_2020-8-17_18-30-25.png

You might have to fetch some overalls, a dustpan and breathing apparatus, buddy(!)

Is it the photo or has that wall by the box got an unnerving lean to the right..

PS, can you ask Bev if you can catch covid a 2nd time?

I'm presuming no or there's one hell of a lot of wasted tests..

There was that wedding gathering in Blackburn with over a hundred people there, what would be the point of pretesting those folk if they are so happy to gather in such large numbers. We also had the same thing just behind me last night, they built a marquee in the garden but there was at least 70 people in and out of the house at one time, loads of coughing and sneezing..

Andy But fella it's all in the name of progress, And lets be fair, once the dust has been seal by silicon goo, Paper and Paint oh and then more silicon goo, you both be as pleased/plastered as pie..
Besides stops getting dust in our old wonders.
Hmm Actually think Bev's listing to Port and all the walls off to the starboard, I know it's been wet but I'd not realised that the house had become a house boat :)

I Believe Andy Wilman the producer for Topgear when the three amigoes were on has been said to have had corvid twice. it was the excuse for the late production of the Grand Tour Season 4

I'm sure Bev will confirm one way or another.

Just asked the wonder of the Cave System and her medical missive for you is:

"No one knows for sure but it might well be that COVID never actually goes away... it just lurks in the background and might possibly rear its ugly head again from time to time..."

So there you have it and as regards the queries about the stability/shape or nature of the bit of rock we call home / real estate, it's just the norm, lads...

    upload_2020-8-17_19-50-5.png

At least we bought it off Norm.

Don't think I'll be able to make it this time Andy (okay, I've lost me overalls), but I'll be back down in April spending 5 days in Filey. By that time hopefully Covid restrictions will have eased up a bit and your kitchen will be open to make a cuppa :)

But while your here, can you list the top 5 things for a tourist to do in Kingston Up on a Hull?

Yep, Paul's nailed it there, Al.

    LOL!

Yeah, Top 5 would be stretching it a tad, mate.

    I'll give it a go:

    1) The Deep aquarium - think it's back open again despite COVID... upload_2020-8-25_22-49-51.jpeg

    2) Ferens Art Gallery - pile in looking all arty farty and lend your visage a distant look and also say hello to my mate Sheila in there (she'll probably ban you if you mention my name!!) upload_2020-8-25_22-51-20.jpeg

    3) Walk along the Marina (my mate Fast Eddie has a narrowboat moored up there not far from the old Spurn lightship... [IMG]

    4) Have a walk along Hessle foreskin, I mean foreshore, and get lost in the Humber Bridge clouds of uncertainty (used to be the longest single span suspension bridge in the world when completed in the early 80s)...

    5) Get some lard down yer neck, fella - pile in to a Bob Carver's fish n chip emporium (and shortly afterwards, when suffering from the coronary, wish you hadn't)...

Good luck, Al - enjoy yer hols and here's to next time you're down this way, mate - you can cut the ribbon when we unveil the new joint.

    Hmm well Andy missed out
1 The delights of standing in the rain ouside the Deep aquarium

2 The delights of queing in the rain ouside the Ferens Art Gallery

3 The delights of walking in the rain along the marina, and tripping over the painter attached to Fast eddie's narrow boat.

4 The delights of sliding down the cables on the Humber bridge, into the rain clouds below..

5 Having a corony whilst eating Fish and Chips outside Bob Carvers oh did I mention in the rain..

Well I know Andy mentions the rain a lot, so I'm guessing it's Wet,Wet,Wet. Not my favorite music but hey what do I know, I'm just dodgy southerner down 'tint smoke..

Piss Take over ... look forward to the replies ... ;);););););)
