He must be related to Walter Mitty after that story....
If he knows the guy that well he’ll be able to get a crime reference number off him. It doesn’t matter as you got a refund.
I have a MicroMate PSU you can borrow while I wait on getting my Breadbin fixed.

I’m having to rely on my C128 now and I always treat it with kid gloves. The PSU on a 128 is a linear one so it’s a lot more reliable, even so I may get a new smaller PSU as they are Amiga sized bricks

I noticed that, do the AMiga bricks work with them? Just I have a spare Amiga lightweight brick here if you wanted it.

Hi Alan,
All go here, bloody C64C I sold seems to have gone walkies, its shows delivered but guy saying it hasn't arrived, don't tell me I've had two chancers in a day?
Its signed for an all...
But yes, 3 C64 issues, PLA's, SIDs and the square PSU's with the C in the middle and ridges.
As for better....I love them both, in general I prefer the Atari versions of games that got a C64 release, Jumpman for instance just sounds and feels wrong on the C64. I love the 64 for the stuff that was never done on the Atari, games like Wizzard, a Jumpman clone but better in different ways to Jumpman ie spells and stuff.
Andy way, if I say one is better then just like the forums its going to lead to an argument, except with myself arguing with myself about which one is better

That sounds like a bit of a Jackanory Story with the courier alright. Glad you got your refund though Paul.
I never knew C64 power supplies were problematic. Had heard about the SID chip going. Hope you get fixed up so you can compare to your Atari again and see how much better the A8 is
