Lurve it Rich - if anyone wants to see real classic retro computing in action, then look no further than a CPC all in one unit - that Alan Sugar needs no Apprentice to teach us he hit the nail on the headbanger with this one - and Villa are ahead - he's in there - who scored, Rich - Peter Withe? Dennis Mortimer? Gary Shaw? Nah...Andy Gray got a brace most likely?!

It ended up Villa 5 Cardiff 0
My scorers were Line-ache-er and Barnes. Didn't have the Europe winning team. I do have a picture of them that I am getting framed. It was such a shame about Gary Shaw.

The TK Stereo II boards arrived if anyone wants one look quite nice in the bare copper and Black finish. I could build one or sell a bare PCB if anyone is interested.

My latest CPC buy is a DK'Tronics 64KB RAM expansion for my 464 so combined with the M4 board it behaves like a 6128 (mostly)
I also built myself a Multiface 2 for my Amstrad as well, it is the CPC version of the Multiface 1 made by Romantic Robot for the ZX Spectrum. It let's you freeze the game save it to disk or tape as a fastloader or you can poke around to find infinite lives or in the case of Tomahawk you can find the the codes for the damn Lenslok protection device.

Silent Service for the C64/128 is on Disk the other C64 games are multiload tapes ( :banghead::facepalm:) The Atari Disk version of Fighter Pilot is complete and in mint condition so I have Tomahawk and Fighter Pilot on Disk for my Atari but now I need to find them on Disk for my Commodore 64.
I also picked up Academy and Hong Kong Phooey for the CPC as well this week - so I've been busy.

BOOTIFUL, Rich. I just lurve the big box war and flight sim originals from the 80s - the packaging, content and experience has never been bettered IMHO - wonderful to see - you have been a lucky bidder to win all those :) Well done, fella.

Some lovely purchases there, my main man, but especially nice to see is the Falklands 82 title for the Speccy - hope you get plenty of challenge out of it too, fella.

After a couple weeks waiting for PC 3.5" drives to arrive (still finding one was the most difficult part of the project) I could play a little with this GreaseWeazle board v4.1, which allows to make digital copies of all your diskette software, no matter what's the system. It supports reading and writing Amiga, Atari ST. PC IBM, Acorn, Commodore 8-bit, Atari 8-bit, Sinclair ZX, and many more. 3.5" or 5.25" drives can be connected and used to create digital files of your physical diskettes or you can create physical copies of your digital versions (for example, ADF to disk or disk to ADF). Amazing product and not too expensive too. Oh and it supports the copy of protected disks, for instance using SCP (SuperCard Pro format) for Amiga-commercial/original games diskettes.

Do any of these pictures remind you smth?

GreaseWeazle is really good. I ended up buying the one that Amiga Addict had for review a couple of years ago from the guy who wrote the article. I used it to convert some ST files but it has sat in my drawer since then. Very handy device though and I'll need to dig it back out sometime and make some more ST images.

Yeah, @nysavant, ST and Amiga diskettes are my first targets, but also PC IBM, C64 and other systems' 5.25" floppy diskettes - it's only almost impossible to find a 5.25" 1.2MB internal/external drive - eBay offers are totally crazy (more than 100 € for single unity) and no luck contacting friends or local PC stores.

Cant remember the last time I used a 5.25 PC floppy. Didn't even realise there was an HD version!

Tell me what you want on the EEPROM and I'll sort one out for you Andy. Would need to be a 16KB image so the games released on cartridge or the diagnostic ROM's or replacement BASIC.

Reading the post again. The interface 2 in the picture is a genuine one so it is not something I made. There are some DIY models out there to build but it is not something I have made. So if you don't have a Sinclair IF2 these won't be much use to you.

Not to worry, mate. Yeah, I aint got an IF2 and god knows what they go for and I couldnt build one so never mind. I'll carry on with the ol tapes and that reminds me, I need to load up some more War Strategy titles on the ol Speccy and review those CCS titles. Cheers, Rich. Hey, wouldnt this do??
